This is the website's policy. It is short because the site does almost nothing.

Your audio files

They are never uploaded. The converter runs inside your browser tab, reads the file from your own disk, and writes the result back to your own downloads folder. No copy is made anywhere else, there is no server to make one on, and the page's Content Security Policy blocks the browser from sending data to any host but this one.

Nothing is stored between visits either. Close the tab and the file is gone from memory.

What this site collects

No accounts, no sign-in, no cookies set by us, no analytics script, no advertising pixels, no third-party embeds. There is no contact form, so there is nothing to submit.

Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs of requests (IP address, user agent, the URL requested) as part of operating the service. We do not use them for tracking and we do not combine them with anything else.

The apps are separate

The Audio Converter - m4a to mp3 apps for iPhone and Android have their own privacy policy, which is published here. Installing an app is a different relationship from reading a web page, and this policy does not cover it.
